TALL CLUBS INTERNATIONAL® 2010
TCI T'allins in N'awlins Convention 2010
As part of the Tall Clubs International (TCI) Convention (June 24 through 29, 2010) about 150 tall people from across the United States, Canada, and Europe have been exploring the Big Easy as part of the Tall Clubs convention
Today, Saturday, is the highlight for the Miss Tall International Pageant. This takes place at the International Ballroom at the Canal Street Doubletree.
The contestant Queens and their respective clubs are:
6’2” Joy Lynn Dawson Tall Club of Greater Washington, D.C.
5’11” Susananne Jane Giesler Daniels Miss Tall Dallas 2010
5’10” Susan MacInnis Flynn Boston Beanstalks Tall Club
6’0” Patricia L Sullivan Paramount Tall Club of Chicago
6’2” Talisha Andrea Tolliver Tall Club of Diamond Valley Lake
6’3” Michele Lynn Wolf Portland Skyliners Tall Club
Reigning Miss Tall International 6’4” Holli Jennings of Portland, Oregon.
Festivities begin at 8:30 pm. A Queen’s Ball will follow.
In addition to providing social events for tall people, TCI and its foundation work to advocate for tall consumers, provide yearly scholarships for high school seniors, and raise funds for the National Marfan Foundation.
Tall Clubs International (TCI) includes more than 60 not-for-profit tall clubs based throughout the United States and Canada. Additional tall clubs exist in Europe and Australia for a total of nearly 150 tall clubs internationally.
